I loved this story the first time I read it a few years ago. My second time around has not changed my opinion. Ms. Andersen has a talent that is amazing. She able to write a wonderful sci-fi, romantic story that is interesting and erotic without the story just a series of sex scenes. I don't want to spoil the book for other readers, but what could be more interesting than two peacekeepers whose assignment is to go to a planet that caters to wealthy masters and slaves where pleasure and sex is expected. Their job is find a diplomat's son who has been kidnapped and sold into slavery and return him to his parents. How the H & h complete this mission is what makes the story a page turner. BTW the peacekeepers have loved one another since first meeting. Don't miss reading this book. You won't regret it.
The concept of this story is good, but the implementation is extremely poor. This is at best a PG rated pleasure planet. There are many terms of endearments to choose from, but the overuse of the the one term, sweetheart, made me want to throw this book cross the room and not finish it.
I love E Anderson. Her stories are passionate action-filled adventures. A sexy roller coaster ride that you wont want to get off!
I am a huge fan of Evangeline Anderson and I really enjoyed this book as well. Evangeline Anderson always manages to surprise me, coming up with great plots, twists and turns that intrigue and fascinate! This is another fine example of this author's writing, provocative, well written, erotic, occasionally dark and suspenseful to the last page. I honestly can't wait for her next work!
I appreciate some of the interesting details used to convey the story, but I'm not a fan of the 'virgin heroine' idea in this day and age.
This is one of the hottest books I've ever read. Kudo to the author! I was so impressed I've managed to chase down about all the other books that Evangeline Anderson has written. Most are good, but this one ~so far~ is the best.It's been a rare thing finding a blend of erotica, BDSM AND space travel but this lusty gem of a book has it all.The forced role reversal was a nice twist as well, I really enjoyed this book and it has a permanent place in my naughty little library.
I thought the plot was good. The secondary characters were nicely developed. The only thing that bothers me about Ms. Anderson is that fat people are usually slimey or lazy or bad in some way. This bothers me. Her Brides of the Kindred books are better about this, though.
I really love this author but I have to say this is not one of my favourite books......a bit too Barbarella for me. Nevertheless it's a fun read for an afternoon
